Exercise Science majors study biology and nutrition, first aid and athletic training, and all kinds of topics in the science of exercise, physiology, and human performance. This interdisciplinary approach is fun and productive. And, it will prepare you for a successful career as a physical therapist, personal trainer, fitness coach and more
As a Health and Physical education major, you will primarily take courses in Exercise Science and Physical Education. You will also follow the curriculum provided by the Department of Education, with hands-on fieldwork in local schools. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll have all the training you need to pursue a fun and active career as a P.E. teacher, fitness instructor, camp director or coach.
